Materials Guide
Compare the characterization of the different glove materials and choose the
composition that best meets your needs.
Cotton
- Natural cellulose fiber
- Flexible, soft, non-irritating, great comfortable due to absorb perspiration
- Cotton fibers are mixed with polyester fibers in order to associate comfort with a higher mechanical resistance and more elasticity.
Nylon
- A lightweight elastic polyamide fiber
- Lint-free, washable, quick drying
- Resistance to abrasion and deformation
- Mixed with cotton and acrylic, it makes the glove more flexible and extends its lifetime.
Acrylic
- Resistance to water, common solvents, acids, weak alkalis
- Resistance to abrasion
- Soft, warm
- Mixed with cotton, it makes the knit more lightweight.
Aramid
- Lightweight, supple, comfortable, washable
- Excellent resistance to cut
HPPE
- High performance polyethylene fiber
- Flexible, light, durable
- Excellent resistance to cut (as a para-aramid)
- Resistance to abrasion
